T-Rac the Tennessee Titans golf buggy driving mascot is back in the news again. As you will remember T-Rac (a.k.a. the Titans) is getting sued big time for running over New Orleans Saints quarterback Adrian McPherson.
Tom Wood in the Nashville Post reports that the Titans want to have the matter heard in Federal Court in Nashville under labour law jurisdiction. They claim the McPherson is violating the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement with the National Football Leagues Players Association by lodging the claim.
I wonder if the NFL and the NFLPA ever thought of the scenario where a player warming up for a game is run over by a 7 foot Racoon in a golf buggy when they were thrashing out their collective bargaining agreement.
